A Note from Me

The end of summer . . .

Does it fill you with that extra spark to power through and finish the year strong, or does it bring a little bit of that bittersweet feeling, knowing the laid-back days of summer are winding down?

For me, it’s a mix. We don’t have kids heading back to school anymore, but you can’t miss the school buses and the back-to-school sales. It always makes me pause and think, “Do we need any notebooks or pens?”—because, let’s face it, you can never have too many, especially when they’re on sale! And then there’s that hint of cooler weather on the horizon, signaling that those warm ocean swims will soon require just a bit more bravery.

But here’s the flip side—the last quarter of the year. It’s like the final lap in a race, where you dig deep and find that extra bit of energy. It’s the perfect time to look back at what you’ve accomplished and plan out how to cross that finish line with a smile. What’s still on your list? How can you make sure you’re wrapping up the year feeling proud of what you’ve achieved? What are your goals this fourth quarter?

If you answered mostly A and B, congrats! If you got mostly C and D, let’s talk! Hit reply and let me know. If/when you want to change the trajectory and get “unstuck”  as it were…we will set up your goals for YOU so they are aligned with your values.

Wait - AREN'T YOU A FOOD COACH?

Why thanks, I’m so glad you asked.

I'm a food revolution coach. But it doesn't end there. I help you hike again, play with your grandkids again, do more in your business, be motivated, stop feeling STUCK!

THAT’S WHY I ASKED HOW YOU ARE DOING ON YOUR GOALS!

It’s all connected. It’s not “here is food and here is my life.” When you eat better you feel better. When you feel better you start being kinder to yourself. You allow yourself to do stuff versus taking out the invisible hammer.

  COOL RESOURCE

Every month, I’m excited to introduce you to a product, person, or place that I find truly beneficial, and I know you will too. This month, I’m spotlighting:

Awaken Wellness Kauai

Let me tell you about someone you need to know—Rachel Stagg. We met just last week, and I have to say, she’s one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve come across in a long time. We instantly clicked, and the funny thing is, I only reached out to buy these lapi lazuli earrings she posted on FB Marketplace!

We met in her charming studio, where she practices a variety of massage modalities, from Lomi Lomi to Swedish to Reflexology.

And let’s not forget her stunning jewelry—this woman is multi-talented! If you’re on the island, be sure to connect with Rachel for a massage. You can also check out her beautiful jewelry and other offerings on Etsy.

You can reach Rachel for a  Massage  and find her on  Facebook  &  Instagram
